QUESTION: Hi Chemmunity Team
just a quick question, does not have anything to do with this topic.
So when we bromonate (jusing NBS/hv) which pozition do we attach the br?
is it on the more sub, or least sub? i am getting this confused. Cause I found this picture (attached) where br is attached on the carbon next to the dobble bond, and not on the actual dobble bond, why?
IS IT THAT: if its an alkane (like no dobble bond in the picture) > then we attach the br on the most sub carbon.
AND IF: dobble bond is present = we attach the br adjacent to the dobble bond?
I have made 5 "questions" where NBS/ hv is present, i have tried to awnser them, but I dont know if its right?
(the questions is in this comment)
