So how do we know where to use E AND Z? Do all alkenes need to have this process, not counting the rings of course

On minute 19:44, I thought it was an Arene (aromatic) because it looks like it.. I didn't quite understand why it would be a phenyl?.

I thought it was an arene because of functional groups . I saw Melissa's video and she said that it was an arene..

Also, can we name it tert-butyl, or does it need to be t-butyl? When naming in alkanes, we were using the whole word

In 1:12:22 , how is it that the OH is connected to form the alcohol bond, but the Hydrogen is not connected directly to the structure? I will attach a picture. Melissa said that it is a Ketone because the Hydrogen is not attached to the structure.. So I thought that the same thing would happen to the OH, since it would be the same thing.. Or it only works when there is other stuff near the structure, like the double oxygen?

Why don't we add any more chiral centers on N?  on problem #4, minute 13:19?

-I would also attach a picture of my own drawing of what I thought was in there. But please correct me, and if you can, show me where they would be.

Hello, so I have a question regarding putting a chirality center. I have only seen examples with wedges and dashes, so I thought that (in my mind, that's only when you put it), but I know that's incorrect because of the last example. My professor gave us these structures to put chirality, and at first I was confused because I thought there wasn't any, bc of the wedges and dashes idea that I had.

I would attach a picture of the problem, and if you can tell me why there is 2 chirality there? (the ones on red are the ones they put in chirality), But if you can explain to me why there are those in there, and maybe if you can tell me what kind of compounds there would be there that make it a chiral center?

-Can priorities be assigned then? since there are chiral centers?

Why didn't we put a chiral on problem #1, minute 4:00? In the picture before it was put, but not here

I used this template

Would this be right? I look at it from the left, but for some reason yours and mine look different.. I thought it was going to be like this bc I followed Melissa's video after this in the staggered position, and she explains that the largest would be at the bottom and at the back. I would attach a picture of the template that I used. Attached is what I did, but I will reply myself to this so you can see what I used.

This is the other one. I also didn't see a sawhorse in the Newman videos
